Blend the edges
How much of each edge is blended.
How far the blend reaches into that strip.
Correct a brightness difference across opposite edges.
Blending can leave doubled details. Check the repeat before saving.

THE METHOD
Make seamless texture online,
then check where it repeats.
Start with a close, straight-on photo of a surface. After you choose it, this tool blends opposite edge strips and moves the joins with a cyclic offset. The three sliders update the same image; dragging the preview moves the offset.
A seamless texture generator cannot fix every photograph. Mortar lines can split. Wood grain can double. If a narrow blend still leaves a visible band, crop a more even part of the source and try that instead.
Check one four-tile junction
Use four copies to inspect where horizontal and vertical joins meet. Zoom in for a closer look, then drag or use the arrow keys to move the offset.
Check the repeating pattern
Nine copies show the same feature returning in both directions. Look for repeated dark patches and doubled details as well as straight seams. This view does not change the exported tile.
What the controls change
- Blend width · 2 to 35%
- Sets the width of each edge strip as a percentage of that dimension. A 12% setting uses 12% of the width on the left and right, and 12% of the height at the top and bottom.
- Blend strength · 10 to 100%
- Changes the falloff inside the strips. A higher value carries the blend farther into the image. It does not recover missing detail.
- Lighting balance · 0 to 100%
- Uses brightness samples from opposite edges to apply a gradual correction. Start at 0% and raise it only if the sides differ in brightness.
FILES & LIMITS
What goes in.
What comes out.
One local image
Choose, drop, or paste JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, GIF, or TIFF. GIF is treated as a still image; TIFF uses the first page. HEIC, RAW, PSD, and SVG are not accepted. Export an image from those formats first.
This page accepts up to 16,777,216 pixels, with neither side longer than 16,384 pixels. It rejects larger images instead of shrinking them. Your browser may run out of memory below that limit.
One original-size PNG
The tileable texture keeps the decoded width and height. PNG export uses 8-bit color channels and retains transparency through the blend. Copy PNG puts the same tile on the clipboard when the browser supports image copying.
No texture library, cloud storage, or generated material maps are included. This tool does not correct perspective or generate normal maps.
BEFORE YOU EXPORT
Before you save the PNG
How do I make my photo into a seamless texture?
Choose your photo, adjust the edge blend, and inspect the 3×3 preview before downloading the PNG. Use 2×2 to inspect the four-tile junction. The preview zoom and grid never change the file size.
Does my image get uploaded anywhere?
No. The image is decoded and processed in this browser, without a file upload or account. Reloading the page clears the working image.
Will the PNG be the same size as my original?
Yes, it keeps the decoded pixel dimensions of an accepted image. There is no resize step. TIFF uses its first page, and an animated GIF becomes a still image.
Why do my bricks or wood grain look doubled?
The edge blend overlaps details that may not line up. Reduce the blend width and inspect the joins again. Blending does not straighten mortar lines, remove perspective, or reconstruct wood grain.
Can I copy the texture on my phone?
Copy PNG works when your browser supports PNG clipboard writes and allows access. Tap Copy PNG after processing finishes. If copying is unavailable or refused, Download PNG still saves the original-size tile.
